Lincoln Cathedral

A beautiful hand-carved and hand-printed linocut print on British made Somerset Satin cotton paper.  Mounted ready to be framed.

Inspiration

Simply....Lincoln Cathedral.  A spectacular gothic cathedral sitting at the top of Steep Hill, Lincoln, UK.  Not only home to nesting Peregrine Falcons but to many stone and wooden carved creatures including the famous Lincoln Imp.

How it's made

'Lincoln Cathedral' started as a rough sketch then a finessed hand drawn design that I transferred onto a lino plate.  I hand-carved the plate before inking and hand-printing with a glass baren and darning mushroom.

Inner mount size 24cm x 33cm

Mounted to fit a 16" x 12" cm frame (ready made frames are available in this size)

Each print is titled and signed by me.

Each print is mounted with a conservation quality mount, backed with acid free paper and wrapped in cellophane.

Don't forget it's an original print, not a digital reproduction.

I currently only sell to the UK.  The price includes free tracked and insured postage to any UK address.
